Market Session Times is a free tool that shows when the world’s trading sessions open and close, in your own time zone. It is written and maintained by the Market Session Times Editorial Team.
How we get the times
- Forex sessions follow the common market convention (Sydney 7 AM to 4 PM, Tokyo 9 AM to 6 PM, London 8 AM to 5 PM, New York 8 AM to 5 PM, each in local time). There is no official forex schedule; brokers may use slightly different hours.
- Exchange hours are taken from the exchanges themselves (NYSE, Japan Exchange Group, ASX, CME Group), with the date we read them.
- Time zones and daylight saving come from the standard time zone database used by your device and our server, checked against official government pages.
Corrections
If you see a wrong time, tell us which page and which time. We check it against the source and correct it.
